Marina Palmer - 10:14pm Sep 1, 2006 Irish (#45 of 49)
Hi, I am very interested in family history and wish to find my Irish ancestors, because of the problems to do with 'the records'in Ireland I cannot find where my great grandad was born etc or any of his family. I only know he was in Dublin prior to coming to England and his dad was named Henry, he (my grandad named Nicholas) was carpenter in Dublin and was aged about 20 when he left, his surname was Oulaghan, and I cannot trace this name in any records so far. There was tales of them actually coming from Tipperary but I don't know this for certain. So if anyone out there can help me I would be so grateful, and who knows I might have some relatives over there, that would be great!!! my e-mail address is ... marina71@btinternet.com
Hopeful Marina

Hi been locking for my Grand mother for ten years! she died 1952! in Croydon Surrey but was Born Kathleen Josephine Cloney born Ireland - Father John a farmer from Wexford Any Cloney's out there? or Heagh's? can explain why my theory of born under a goosberry bush in Ireland and flown by Stork to meet my Grand father in Croydon 1908 is absolute nonsense!!! Would simply be amazed if someone can explain the origins of the Cloney's!!
